J. L. Guyer

J. L. Guyer became an author in 2017. It all started with her book club where her love of books was renewed. Then came the ideas. She determined to turn her ideas into a story, knowing she might not like it, but as it turns out she loved the whole writing process and hasn't looked back. J. L. Guyer is the author of Scents of War, the first in an epic fantasy trilogy. Her second book, Scents of Exile, is coming soon. There are several more books in the works, too.

When she isn't writing, she's spending time with her family of boys exploring the world. She loves reading, playing the piano, and being outdoors. Guyer, also, contributed regularly to Goodnight Flagstaff, a non-profit local community bed time story podcast until it came to an end. She received her bachelor of arts in English from Northern Arizona University and is currently living in the mountains of Flagstaff, Arizona.
